Alain Nasreddine decisive win Fun
4
These two dropped the gloves with each other in a line brawl and both locked onto each other at arms length. Skolney then threw and landed a big left hand that stunned Nasreddine for a second or two but Skolney was unable to follow up on the punch as he slipped to the ice. Nasreddine then landed a number of short right hands on Skolney as Skolnet turtled on the ice.

Great first punch by Skolney but he then slipped and Nasreddine took advantage landing a number of punches and forcing Skolney to turtle on the ice. So this is a decisive win for Nasreddine.

Decisive win Nasreddine.

Skolney landed a left at first then Nasreddine quickly responded with a right and he fell over Skolney. Nasreddine was on top while Skolney turtled when he was down on the ice.

Boyd Kane turtled big time in this fight and just kept the hands over his head. Lupaschuk fed him with a few punches before he realized that Kane was done and others got in between them. This brawl was great to see live. The Pens just won a very important playoff game at the time on their way to the Calder Cup and finished the game off with a bang!

According to the Wilkes-Barre announcers, Lupaschuk and Kane were fighting while the goalies squared off.Reply

You can't review a fight without seeing it. And you should definitely not believe all that Tom Grace is saying in the clip. He is the biggest homer ever.

Andy Chiodo clear win Fun

As far as goalie fights go, this one wasn't a spectacular. Chiodo threw a right as they grabbed hold, and pulled Niittymaki's jersey over his head. Chiodo wrestles him down, mounts, and lands a weak right while Niittymaki just covers up.

However, the real attraction here are the homer Wilkes-Barre announcers, who make one of the most overblown calls of a fight in the history of hockey, seriously.

Chiodo throws a punch which appears to miss or at the most graze. Nittymaki slips to the ice and when he gets up, Chiodo wrestles him to the ice and gets on top. While straddling him, he throws a big right hand.

They throw their goaliestuff and sticks to the ice, and go. It seems that Niittymäki doesn't have enough strength to keep himself up when Chiodo connects one punch and puts his weight on him. They fall down to the ice and Chiodo throws one hard right which didn't connect. (or maybe connected, but not on Niittymäki's face)

The goalies drop there gloves. Nittymaki is chasing Chiodo, and Chiodo starts to back up to center ice. Then Chiodo moves forward grabs a hold of Nittymaki's jersey, and starts beating him up with punch after punch. Chiodo gets Nittymaki's jersey over his head and hits him over. Andy gets on top of Antero and keeps pounding on him. The refs make their way in to break it up. The crowd is going nuts for Chiodo.

There's a brawl on the ice and the two netminders drop their equipment and skate out to centre ice before squaring off. Chiodo then jumps in swinging a right hand that falls short before quickly wrestling Niittymaki down to the ice and climbing on top of him and landing one right hand before allowing the linos to come in and end the fight.

Poor fight so even though it's a goalie fight I can't rate it any higher than a four. Chiodo wins by the fact he controls the fight and lands a punch while mounted on Niittymaki.

Clear win Chiodo.

Holy Shit.

Chiodo and Nittymaki chase down to center red and go at it.
Chiodo has him on his back early, and pummels him a good bit. Overall, clear Chiodo win.

Wow. That was almost a TKO.

Decisive win for Chiodo. Not the greatest fight but the goalies scrapping is rare enough, and although it didn't last long it was exciting.

WMRD: go to the eye doctor asap! And take the announcers with you. Sure it was a clear win but "punch after punch"? Please. That was a wrestling match and Chiodo hits him while he is on top of him once. Nitty must be superman to get up so easily after the beating you and the announcers describe.Reply
