| Not even a fight. Arnott was third man in during an ongoing scrap and Messier threw a short punch while Arnott was occupied. They tried to square off but the officials intervened. Why they received fighting majors is a mystery to me. |

Apr 5, 2007 11:49 ET | It's been a while since I watched this but what I remember they wanted to fight, but the linesmen stepped in very quickly. I also think there are a lot of incidents like this added here as fights, so I think it should stay as a fight and they both got fighting majors too. | Reply |

Apr 6, 2007 05:31 ET | Thanks for the clip. You can see McKenzie throwing at least one right hand with gloves off. Regardless of whether it landed or not, there was a clear intent to fight by McKenzie. There was also just enough action to call it a fight.
