Darcy Hordichuk clear win Fun
6
Darcy Hordichuk meets up with Steve Webb and as they go up the ice with each other, Webb drops his gloves suddenly, getting a small jump on Hordichuk. Hordichuk drops his gloves as they grab onto each other with Webb missing a left as Hordichuk misses a right. Webb follows up with two other missing lefts and changes hands. Webb throws three rights, landing one before Hordichuk begins chucking rights. Webb continues tossing rights himself and they trade furiously for a while. It's even for a little bit but Hordichuk soon takes over and starts getting the best of Webb. Webb's jersey comes up over his head and while Hordichuk continues pumping out rights, Webb loses his balance and goes down. During the trading, Hordichuk threw twelve and Webb nine; while Hordichuk landed six and Webb three. With Webb down the linesmen hurry in and Hordichuk misses one right before being separated from his opponent. Good, energetic, fight. First career fight for Hordichuk and he won it.

This was a pretty good scrap. Webb missed a punch and landed a decent blow. He missed a punch and landed a decent right. Hordichuk landed an average blow and a couple of solid shots. He missed a punch and landed a pretty good right. Steve missed a punch and landed a solid blow. He missed two punches and landed a partial connect. Darcy missed three punches. He landed a solid blow and an average shot. Webb's jersey came up over his head and the refs stopped the fight.

I rate this as a clear win for Hordichuk. He landed some powerful shots. His blows were of better quality and he had a numerical edge as well.

Darcy Hordichuk clear win Fun

Steve Webb is standing near the boards at the blueline when Darcy Hordichuk skates up to him. The two men move up the ice, staying near each other and talking. Webb decides to drop the gloves and he gets a bit of a jump on Hordichuk. Webb has his gloves off and he lands a left as Hordichuk tries to get his off. Webb lands another left and misses with a follow up punch. However Hordichuk has shed his gloves and he gets set. Webb tries to go punch for punch with Hordichuk and that would prove to be a bad move on his part.

Webb goes with his right and lands two blows. They start going toe-to-toe and Hordichuk starts pumping Webb with right hands. Hordichuk blasts him with four rights, knocking the helmet off Webb. Webb tries to fight back as he throws a few punches, getting in a couple. However Hordichuk keeps coming as he tags Webb with four more rights and the jersey comes up over Webb's head.

Hordichuk tags Webb with two more rights. Webb is knocked off balance and he slips and falls, going to the ice. Hordichuk hits the jerseyed Webb with another shot. The officials jump in to stop the fight although Webb does get back to his feet, but the jersey is still over his head. Webb employed a risky strategy, going toe-to-toe with Hordichuk. He played right into Hordichuk's hands as Darcy is an experienced toe-to-toe battler and that is the fighting style he prefers.

Webb had the edge early on as he got a bit of a head start on Hordichuk. However once Hordichuk got set, he took over the fight and pounded Webb with rights. Hordichuk easily evened the punch count and then surpassed it by a decent margin, earning the clear win. I won't call it decisive because Webb was still fighting back despite being blinded by the jersey. Plus Hordichuk didn't do enough to make it a decisive win.

They drop the gloves in the neutral zone by the players' benches. Both of them go righty. Webb gets off three punches to start things off: his first one lands to the helmet, second one is a glancing shot, and his third one misses. Hordichuk now responds with authority as Webb is throwing ineffective punches. Hordichuk throws four rights to the head of Webb and some of them land nicely, his fifth punch is a body shot to Webb. As Webb's helmet comes off he is still throwing wild punches of no consequence and Hordichuk continues to land solid punches. Hordichuk continues the onslaught of rights, landing five more rights to Webb's head and face. At this point, Webb is in trouble as he gets his own jersey over his head as Hordichuk continues to pummel away. Hordichuk lands two more rights as Webb loses his balance and falls to the ice. One more right is thrown by Hordichuk that misses then the linesmen intervene to end the scrap. Clear win goes to Hordichuk for landing a lot more and much better.

Good fight...Webb with lefts, Hordi with lefts, then rights, then lefts...he switched up a few times and towards the end looked like he caught Webb flush in the face.

Good fight, I remember watching this game, this was Hordichuk's first fight in the NHL. Webb got the gloves off quicker and got in the first couple of shots, but Hordichuk then got going and as the announcer said outslugged Webb to take the win.

Berube tries to hit Tamer but Tamer sees him coming and avoids the hit. Tamer then wants to go and they drop the gloves. Berube lands a quick right to the face right at the beginning, then throws another that only hits Tamer's shoulder. Berube then takes Tamer down and seems to land one to the side of his helmet when Tamer is on his way down. Berube falls down on top of Tamer and the linesmen rush in to break it up. Crap fight that only lasted about 5 seconds. Berube landed only punches and the first punch was good enough to give him the edge.

Craig Berube gets in on the forecheck but misses Chris Tamer with a hit. In spite of the miss, Tamer takes issue with the hit and drops the gloves with Berube. Tamer gets the gloves off a second before Berube and they immediately get a grip on each other. Tamer misses a right as Berube lands a right to the face but not strong. Tamer then leans away as Berube misses two rights and Tamer loses his balance. Berube goes down on top of Tamer landing a right to the helmet and then a linesman arrives to break it up. Poor scrap and an edge to Berube.
