| Aaron Johnson just misses a hit on Ian Laperriere and then they drop the gloves and get in tight on one another. Laperriere pries Johnson's helmet loose and then throws three rights to the back of the head, landing one. Johnson gets some space from Laperriere who misses two more rights and then Johnson misses a right of his own. Johnson then ducks down and picks up Laperriere's leg but soon lets go. Laperriere throws three rights and lands two before Johnson falls down and the linesmen intervene. Win Laperriere for landing the only punches on the non-fighter Johnson. Below average scrap in my opinion. |

| They come together in the corner and drop the gloves. They tie up before Laperriere gets loose and throws a flurry of about 4 overhand rights that knock Johnson's helmet off. Laperriere throws another overhand right as Johnson comes back with a right of his own. Johnson grabs Laperriere's knee and tries to take him down but Johnson can't quite get him off balance. Laperriere throws a couple more overhand rights before he takes Johnson to the ice, ending the fight. |

This was totally one-sided and Aaron Johnson had no place fighting Laperriere. I don't think Johnson even lands a solid punch in this fight.
Total domination from Laperriere; Johnson was lucky he didn't get knocked out. |

Laperriere is the one who wants this. Johnson does drop the gloves, but it's clear he really wants little part of it and just holds. Lappy throws several short rights, Johnson missed a punch and then tried a single leg, but it didn't work (this caused the announcer to jump the gun and claim Lappy kicked him, but he corrected himself on the replay) and Lappy got a few more in before they fell down.
I don't think it's decisive because Laperriere didn't do a lot of damage, but still a clear win. |

Lappy lands a few two the back of Johnson head Johson trys to trip Lappy by taking his legs from under him! But Lappy keeps his balance and lands 1 or 2 more and Johnson falls! |
