| Stu Grimson trips up Wade Belak along the boards and Belak stays down on the ice, causing a stoppage in play. Derek Morris then gives Eric Belanger a light slash on the leg and Grimson grabs Morris. Belak then jumps up and heads for Grimson, throwing a gloved punch while grabbing him. Grimson drops his gloves and grabs Belak who drops his gloves too. They wrestle away from other players and officials and Grimson misses a right. Belak lands a left and they remain in tight and wrestling. Grimson misses a left and they go into the boards with Belak connecting lightly on a left and a right. Grimson pins Belak against the glass and they keep wrestling. Belak misses a left as they get some space from each other and then move away from the boards. Grimson lands a right and then Belak misses a left and gets back in tight as Grimson misses a right. They wrestle and then Grimson throws three rights, landing two while taking Belak down. The linesmen come in then and break up the fight. Not a good scrap, mostly wrestling. Belak early and Grimson late so it's a draw to me. |

| It's late in the game and Wade Belak gives a light tap on the back of the leg of Stu Grimson with the stick. Grimson turns to Belak and gives him a crosscheck to the arm. Belak then drops the gloves and lands a right while grabbing onto Grimson. Grimson ducks while dropping the gloves and grabs onto Belak as he misses a left. They wrestle in tight afterwards and Belak lands two lefts. They gain a bit of separation from each other and Belak misses a right before Grimson lands a left. Belak misses a left and Grimson throws two rights, landing one afterwards. Then Belak misses a right and Grimson misses a right and they get in back in tight as Belak misses a left. They wrestle and Belak gets bent over as Grimson works on getting free but the officials get in and break it up. Draw in a boring fight, mostly wrestling and the majority of the punches missed. Belak got the jump on Grimson but after having the advantage early, Grimson came back late and had the advantage then. |
