Dean Ewen narrow win Fun

Stewart came to the rescue of Emma here and went with Ewen.
Michael wasn't particulary interested in trading and did mostly try to just protect himself. Ewen landed the only shots that mattered and clearly had control of the bout, nothing great did appear to connect though.

Draw Fun

Off the faceoff, Ewen gets in a good flurry of lefts early. Craighead slips out of his jersey very easy and they trade lots of punches during a minute or so. Very even, Ewen did very well considering his opponent lost his jersey. Craighead might have landed more before the refs moved in, call it a draw since Ewen landed a flurry early.
Dean is bleeding a little from his nose afterwards and skates off to the lockerroom holding his wrist.

Very good fight with both exchanging blows till the very end, Ewen has an early lead but Craighead gets free of his jersey and storms back, from there its back and forth as both land several good blows, a well earned draw to both men.

John Craighead clear win Fun
10
Sometimes when filling in the punch count, looks can be deceiving, but holy crap not here. When I did these punch stats it tells the story. This is what draws new fans, unbelievable fight, Craighead lands with uppercuts, right on blows to the face, roundhouses, you name it he landed it.
Oduya suffered a real punishment here. Impressive that he stood in there all the way, countering with his own arsenal and not going down. A few of Craighead's punches looked to be so very damaging, it had to hurt for Fredrik.

At one point it looks like a tooth flies out of Oduya's mouth, that's how intense the fight was. But in the replay it looks more like a small piece of plastic.
You can't ask for more in a hockey fight because these two really went all out without exaggerating one bit.

When they broke them up, Craighead screamed to the home fans and stared with his eyes like a madman. Good event all over.

John Craighead clear win Fun

One of the greatest fights I've ever seen.

They square up at centre, do one circle then Craighead goes in for it. He jumps in fast, both players grabbing with both hands. Craighead connects with a short and fast left hand, then grabs the jersey, he starts to pull down Oduya's jersey. As he's doing this Oduya throws some right hands, 2 of them connecting out of the 4 thrown. Craighead keeps ducking down and pulling on Oduya's jersey. Oduya throws a right and missing, then throws a right which knocks off Craighead's helmet. Craighead then throws two rights, a straight which connects then an uppercut that misses. They both start throwing right hands the majority missing. Oduya connects one on the top of Craighead's head as he's ducking. Craighead keeps the fight spinning in an anti-clockwise direction, he then throws a right at the same time as Oduya, both connecting. He throws another right which connects hard, you see something fly, could possibly be one of Oduya's teeth. Craighead continues to throw rights, he misses one then lands a hard one on Oduya's helmet. Oduya keeps trying to throw rights but most of them missing. Craighead spins and Oduya's head lowers and Craighead connects with a HUGE right hand uppercut. Oduya grabs on with both hands and Craighead switches to his left, throwing and connecting with 3 left uppercuts. Oduya lets go with the right hand and leans back to throw some more rights but most of them are hitting Craighead's shoulder. Oduya decides to grab on with two hands again, Craighead smacks a right hand on Oduya's jaw, he lowers his head and Craighead cracks him with a hard right hand uppercut squarely on the jaw. Oduya throws in two more rights as the linesman come in, both connecting. A linesman jumps on Oduya and spins him to the ice.

Craighead skates away from the fight looking up at the crowd with his mouth open shaking his arms. The crowd go wild at it. At the same time Oduya leaves the ice with blood coming from his nose.
In the fight replay you see the item go flying from Oduya, it's far too big to be a tooth. Looks more like a mouth guard or possibly something from his helmet. Definitely not a tooth.

It was a fairly equal fight in the amount thrown and connected, but by far Craighead's connected punches had a lot more power in them.

Damn, this was a great fight. Although Craighead was clearly the winner in this one, Oduya did stand in and slug it out with him until the end, and was never out of the fight. One of the better hockey fights you will see.

Very good fight, Oduya takes an early lead but again Craighead comes back strong and clearly gets the better of it in the 2nd half to take the lead, the linesmen come in way too early so it's a win for Craighead..
