56McQuaid fought middling opposition again. The performances against Martin and Konopka were good. He did well with White and Crombeen. Again, it is disappointing that Adam doesn't step it up more often against upper echelon guys. That keeps him at a five and not a six in my opinion. He has long arms and good physical tools. He is one of the better light heavies in the NHL. He can box and has better than average pop.Getting inside his condor-like reach is essential. He is a clever boxer, but not one of the great strategists in hockey. He looks very good against inferior opposition. He can look more ordinary against the better scrappers in the NHL.
