Jan 22 18:51 ET | Action 8 | Chicago once again shows their firepower this year. Hossa is really on fire, perhaps to get back at Raffi Torresb for putting him on the shelf for so long.
Hossa's second of the game, (4th of the season) just 14 seconds into the third makes it 5-2 Hawks. But then he takes a penalty, switching the momentum back to the Yotes.
The Yotes fail to score on the powerplay, but get one @ 4:38 as Hanzal scores. Just 50 seconds later, Doan scores, as the Coyotes show why they are so tough to beat: they just don't quit.
Bolland's goal 22 seconds later gives the Hawks a little cusion to work with, and that's how the game ends.
Both goalies did look a little lost out there. The long layoff has hurt skaters and goalies alike. |
