Wayne Gretzky | Best damn hockey player ever, and it definitely wasn't because he could fight.
Mario Lemieux | If he wasn't playing at the same time as Gretzky, would have been the best ever. As it is, let the debate rage over who was better.
Link Gaetz | Watched him in the pros and when he was with Madison. Could destroy almost anyone if he was on his game.
Jeremy Roenick | Great player, wasn't afraid to drop the gloves (Though clearly not his first option).
Dave "Tiger" Williams | Was there ever a more prized son-of-a-bitch than this guy? I hated him when he went to North Dakota, but dammit, he grew on me in the NHL.
Tie Domi | Toughest son of a bitch around. The work he did in kids hospitals in Toronto cemented him as probably my favorite brawler. And when he wanted to, he could score.
Jon "Nasty" Mirasty | Be so nice to see what some of the scrappers in the league would do if he ever made it.
Neal Broten | Class act. Played hard, but clean. He earned his rewards.
Daniel Carcillo | Scrapper that doesn't back down to anyone.
Donald Brashear | All the haters can suck a dick, since he probably pummeled all of their favorites at least once.
Keith Tkachuk | Hard worker, can still drop them if needed. Just ask Jovanovski about his punches.
Ron Hextall | Wouldn't take crap from anyone, just ask Chelios.
Georges Laraque | Another one that's probably beaten the piss out of the Hate List's huggy bears at least twice over. Love the guy, but hate the guy also for losing his instinct.
Grant Marshall | Very underrated as both a fighter and a goal scorer. He didn't always win, but he'd take on some tough customers.
Ray Bourque | One of the best defensemen in the modern era. Class act on and off the ice.
Jeremy Yablonski | More and more respect for this guy. Lethal in MMA, too.
Adam Deadmarsh | Shame his career had to end on such a sour note.
Steve Larmer | Hated to see him leave Chicago, but Dollar Bill wouldn't pay him what he was worth.
Joe Sakic | One of the best in the game. Loved watching him beat Gilmour's ass.
Steve Yzerman | As much as I hate to say it, I have to give respect where it's due: Yzerman was a class act, and a lot of fun to watch.
Gordie Howe | One of the best that ever played.
Brad Cruikshank | The more I see of this guy, the more I like. Can score, will fight when needed... might have NHL potential. Just needs a little more discipline.
Theoren Fleury | Played with his heart on his sleeve.
Raitis Ivanans | Not your typical Euro creampuff.
Tony Granato | Didn't fight much, but would piss anyone off in arm's reach. Good person, good friend.
Steve Sullivan | Guy's got a lot of guts to come back from what he had to. Plays like he's a lot bigger.
Fraser Filipic | I'm impressed with this guy. I think he could have scrapped in the NHL with some of the big guns.
Ilya Kovalchuk | Very talented, and can drop the gloves when he's really fired up. Though his half-ass play as of late is really starting to piss me off.
Evgeni Malkin | This guy could be scary if he developed a little more of that killer instinct. Send him to Boogaard's school for a month.
Jarome Iginla | Plays hockey the way it SHOULD be played. Hard-nosed, aggressive, and if a scrap breaks out, fine.
Sidney Crosby | Grudging respect. I appreciate his talent in scoring. Would be nice if he could add some toughness to that.
Mark Recchi | 22 years in the league, went out on top. Gotta respect that.
Behn Wilson | Never knew what you were going to get from him. A hat trick, or someone getting their face pulverized.
Bobby Orr | Simply the best defenseman ever. Changed the position, and the game itself.
Grant Fuhr | Simply one of the top 5 goalies ever to play the game. Quick hands, almost never out of position... I strive to be like Grant Fuhr.
Paul Coffey | The second best offensive defenseman, next to Orr.
Evander Kane | Gritty player, does what he has to do to help the team win.
John Scott | One loss, and all the "heavyweights" pussy out when he gets on the ice.
Gaby Roch | This guy could probably square off against some NHL tough guys. Much respect for him.

Mar 5, 2004 Ottawa-Philadelphia | THIS is the way hockey should be played. Hard, aggressive, and if it blows up, oh well, let 'em go.
Feb 22, 2007 Ottawa-Buffalo | Wanna draw fans back? More games like this.
Dec 4, 2010 Nottingham-Coventry (EIHL) | Good old-style hockey. The way it should be.
Feb 11, 2011 Pittsburgh-NY Islanders | Another good old-fashioned brawl that a hockey game landed in the middle of. Good stuff, need a lot more of this.
Nov 26, 2011 HIFK-Pelicans (FEL) | Again, this is what hockey needs. Not every day, but once in a while.
May 5, 2013 Montreal-Ottawa G3 | The way hockey was, the way hockey should be. Enough of this sissy call-everything crap.
